Planned Maintenance Reports

These are usually carried out on blocks of flats or estates. The report is based on a full survey of the block, it will comment on the various elements and then indicate what works should be carried out and when. The maintenance works are usually categorized as follows:

  • Immediately – works should be considered and undertaken at the earliest opportunity
  • Urgent – works carried out within the first year
  • Short term – works carried out within years 2 – 5
  • Medium term – works carried out within years 5 – 10
  • Long term – works carried out at or after 10 years
  • Photographs will highlight points of concern
